Mechanical Design Engineer

Waltonen Engineering is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

+ Engineering analysis/support of military vehicles

+ Prepare plans with detailed drawings that include project specifications

+ Design and execute engineering to create workable solutions

+ Develop engineering calculations, diagrams and technical reports

+ Complete required technical and regulatory documents

+ Ensure projects are completed on time

+ Present analysis results and project solutions to technical leads, senior leaders and clients as necessary

Qualifications

+ Experience in vehicle component and/or systems experience preferred

+ Specific experience in mechanical design engineering

+ Experience with NX or Creo preferred but not mandatory

+ Previous experience with defense/military vehicles preferred but not mandatory
