**Job Description Summary**

The Mechanical Design Lead Engineer for Test Rigs will lead, supervise and execute activities associated with design of complex mechanical systems for engine, module and component testing (Mechanical Test Enabling Hardware), for both Civil and Military programs.

**Essential responsibilities**



+ Execute, with limited guidance, the design, analysis, evaluation of Mechanical Test Enabling Hardware that meet business standards, practices and procedures as well as the product/program requirements, in line with decisions concurred at Systems level.

+ Support the development of new mechanical concepts with the use of CAD tools.

+ Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements.

+ Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
