Mechanical Design Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Realizes overview diagram and time cycle of an automatized process.
• Performs conceptual and detailed design of new equipment or modifications to existing engineering.
• Selects raw materials based in their characteristics and application needs.
• Writes mechanical functional analysis and design calculation notes.
• Applies safety, ergonomics and environmental principles during design development.
• Selects the different parts such as actuators, sensors, and others commercial parts.
• Design metallic and plastics materials machined parts optimized for feasibility and price.
• Develop mechanical 3D assembly design and drawings.
• Provides support during assembly, debugging, calibration, qualification, and production run‑up with electrical and automation engineer.
• Develop documentation package for project.
