Mechanical Design Technician

Functions:

• Receives mechanical assembly instruction from MDE.
• Assembles mechanical modules, test fixture and prepares materials for the integration activity
• Provides mechanical integration and assembly support to developer
• Performs initial verification on the mechanical aspect of the test system
• Provides mechanical assembly support to developer during troubleshooting/debug activity
• Assists the Test Developer in the deployment of the tester/test system to target location in terms of mechanical aspect

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any Mechanical Technology Course
• With 3 years or more experience in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge in using CAD software, simple jigs and fixture design experience will be advantage
• Can interpret 3D and 2D CAD files for part inspection and assembly reference
