Mechanical Designer

Job Overview

Mechanical Designer position located in Canada, preferred Northern Ontario offices. Key role: design and optimize layout of heavy industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D models and layout general arrangements for existing plant upgrades and new facilities.
• Prepare process flow diagrams.
• Prepare design sketches, design calculations, design briefs, and standard details.
• Prepare trade-off studies and reports.
• Assist in checking vendor documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure timely and accurate flow of design information, maintaining departmental and client standards.
• Provide input to support tasks such as maintenance of equipment libraries, departmental standards and procedures.
