About the JobWe are seeking an Engineer with experience in design, construction and commissioning of turbomachinery (pumps and/or hydro turbines), piping, hydraulic and conveyance systems.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of developing hydraulic models & calculations for transporting Newtonian/Non-Newtonian/settling/non-settling slurries (pressurized & open channel)ResponsibilitiesHydraulic, process, mechanical and piping designAssist in the development of studies from concept to implementationConcepts, feasibility, and detailed designs for pumping & piping systemsReview project calculations, specifications, and drawings to meet code and quality requirementsPreparation of detailed specifications, data sheets, calculations, and reportsDevelop the preparation of drawings, P&IDs and schematicsResearch and analyze data and prepare and respond to requests for informationAssist or perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimatesEngage and interface with suppliers, m...
