Conduct mechanical development engineering activities required to develop competitive products.
Develop the structure of the mechanical system from the architecture and consider the measures from the risk analysis in the construction.
Break down structures into subsystems and components and create a detailed product specification.
Check whether existing subsystems and components can be reused.
Develop alternative structures and select the one that is most suitable.
