Mechanical Drafter

Are you a highly skilled and detail-oriented person with experience in 3D and 2D design of sheet metal cabinets?

In this work-from-home permanent contract role for a fast-growing Australian company, you will be responsible for designing and drafting sheet metal cabinets and other components in SolidWorks for a diverse range of exciting electrical infrastructure projects.

You'll need:

• Mechanical engineering qualification preferred but not essential
• At least 3 years experience in mechanical drafting
• Experience with sheet metal and SolidWorks
• Experience with shipping container based projects highly valued
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly productive and disciplined
• Ability to work remotely in a team
• People skills – ability to work together effectively with other engineers and management
• Passion for learning and continuous improvement
