Responsibilities

• Assists the Senior Manager in managing the safe, effective and efficient preparation, cleaning
• and repair of passenger trains so that the required number of trains is continuously provided
• for passenger service
• Manages, leads and motivates a group of Senior / Assistant Engineers and Senior / Technicians
• in the corrective and preventive maintenance of the DTL passenger trains
• Provides technical investigations and analyze structural, system or component problems on
• rolling stock and recommend solutions and trials
• Leads the reliability growth program for DTL passenger trains
• Supervises and co-ordinates implementation of modification works and fleet-wide checks
• Monitors the performance of trial modifications and prepare reports recommending adoption
