Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aMechanical Engineer IIto join theData Center Power and Control Teamin New London, CT and Conover, NC.The Mechanical Engineer II will be responsible for the design of new product, opto-mechanical components, and fiber assemblies, including product test validation. Working individually or as part of a design team to develop, evaluate and validate product designs and specifications. Also conducts design reviews, validates and approves documentation packages, preproduction builds and production transfer.
Provides mentor guidance and support to engineering team members across disciplines.
What Will You Do?

+ Provide direction and project management for mechanical design and test validation efforts. Work with Product Marketing, Manufacturing and other Engineering personnel during product conceptualization phases and throughout the project phases.
