Mechanical Engineer

Job Purpose

• Plan and perform an energy audit to evaluate energy usage and propose recommendations for energy conservation measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed energy audits of mechanical systems in buildings, industrial facilities and infrastructure to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
• Analyze HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, pumps and other mechanical equipment to assess performance and energy consumption.
• Utilize energy modelling software and measurement tools to evaluate energy usage patterns and identify areas of inefficiency or waste.
• Recommend and design energy conservation measures (ECMs) to optimize mechanical systems, reduce energy consumption and improve overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams to develop cost-effective and sustainable solutions for energy savings.
