Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

• Supervise installation and commissioning of fire protection systems (AFSS, FDAS suppression systems, hydrants, etc.)
• Review and approve shop drawings, technical specifications and material submittals
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and project managers to align fire protection scope with overall construction timelines
• Preparation of all documents needed for the project (Gantt chart, Permits, S-Curve, Work Methodology and other documents needed in the project)
• Prepare and request materials needed in the project
• Submit weekly accomplishment report

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• Background in Fire Systems is a plus
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
