Mechanical Engineer (Material Handling)

Sedgman is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Materials Handling) to join our growing team in Vancouver BC. The ideal candidate will have experience working on the design, analysis and optimization of ore handling systems in mining/heavy industrial projects, including storage, crushing, screening, conveying, stockpiling and reclaiming.

Work includes conceptual design and studies through to detailed design. He / She develops solutions to ore handling requirements on projects, creates detailed mechanical drawings and layouts, and ensures compliance with safety standards; they bridge the gap between machinery design and efficient, safe operational workflows.
