Job Description

Our client, working in construction technology, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Product Development. Reporting to the Director of Engineering and working with a cross-functional team, you will participate in concept through prototyping, test and production, ensuring designs are robust and manufacturable.

Own the full lifecycle of mechanical design, from concept to detailed drawings;
Develop high-precision mechanisms, optomechanical assemblies and enclosures;
Work with optics, hardware, and firmware teams to ensure alignment and integration with optics, electronics, and embedded systems;
Rapidly prototype mechanical concepts, using 3D printing, machining or other techniques;
Lead testing and validation of designs under real-world conditions;
Implement iterative improvements based on field and user feedback;
Work closely with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal teams;
