Mechanical Engineer

A dynamic, well established consulting engineering practice in Centurion is seeking an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer to head up a small, but growing division.

Requirements

• Proven experience (min 8 years) in the complete design and detailing of HVAC & plumbing systems of single & multi-unit residential, hospitality, commercial & retail buildings
• Knowledge of thermal modelling of buildings for SANS 10400-XA rational designs
• Ability & interest to undertake the design of the services for off-grid & remote developments using appropriate/alternative technologies
• Registered with ECSA

Responsibilities

• Management of a diverse cross-section of building related wet services & HVAC projects
• Applying buildings engineering & project management knowledge to meet project requirements
• Applying strong mechanical engineering skills, experience, knowledge & oversight to projects
