About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design, thermal validation, and ruggedization of advanced secure communication and SATCOM systems.

This senior role focuses on delivering defense-grade hardware platforms capable of operating in extreme environmental conditions while ensuring manufacturability and production scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thermal and structural simulations (Flowtherm, ANSYS, or equivalent)
• Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-810 and DO-160 standards
• Oversee environmental, vibration, and thermal testing
• Drive design for manufacturability and cost optimization
• Manage external vendors and prototype-to-production transition
• Collaborate with RF, electronics, and system engineering teams
