Mechanical Estimator/Quoting Engineer

Purple Engineering is currently in search of a highly analytical and qualified Mechanical estimator/quoting engineer to join our growing business. This is a remote work (Work From Home) set-up and will be reporting Mon-Fri 8 AM to 5 PM (Western Australia time). Candidates should be from the Philippines

Job Description and Expectation

Draft quotes/proposals based on customer requirements and inquiries (through portal or email)

Contact suppliers for quotations and make sure the requirement can be delivered in a timely, cost-effective, and quality-acceptable manner

Coordinate with suppliers if there are some clarifications required (ie, tech specs, drawing dimensions, etc.)

Follow up and negotiate with the supplier regarding the commercial proposal and delivery lead times of the project.

Gives technical evaluation on the received quotes as requested by Purple Engineering team

Update quote records as deemed necessary.
