Mechanical Fitter - Fixed Plant

Heidelberg Materials Australia is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Mechanical Fitter - Fixed Plant to join our hardworking team at Red Hill Quarry. This hands-on role is key to keeping our fixed plant operations running safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance and long-term site improvement.

What the Role Involves:

• Maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment including crushers, bearings conveyors, and screens - training provided on specific equipment as required
• Strong emphasis on preventative maintenance and condition monitoring • Work closely with contractors during shutdowns and major maintenance events
• Perform daily inspections and assist in planning maintenance schedules
• Accurately document maintenance activities and report issues as they arise
• Contribute to ongoing site improvements through practical input and initiative
