Mechanical Inspector

Busy Hi-Tech Machine shop in Northwest NJ needs experienced Mechanical QC Inspector for hi-precision close-tolerance work. CMM and/or Faro Arm Experience a Plus.

Mechanical Inspector Job Requirements & Responsibilities:

• 3-5 Years metal machining or quality inspection experience
• Ability to read and understand blue prints & mechanical drawings
• Read and interpret drawings, geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and dimensional inspection experience
• Prior experience using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and/or Faro Arm is strongly preferred
• Operate and maintain a CMM and/or a Faro Arm
• Experience with CMM programing (OPEN DMIS and PolyWorks) a major plus
• Knowledge in the use of standard measuring instruments
• Proficient in measurement tool usage (micrometer, caliper, comparator, height gauge, etc.)
• Proficient in inspection fixture design and set up
