Mechanical Layout Designer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Layout Designer, you will play a key role in the design and optimization of layout design for heavy industrial projects across the subsector. You will collaborate across teams and prepare 3D models and layout arrangements for plant upgrades and new facilities, review drawings and designs, develop process diagrams, site plans through to detail. This position will be located in one of our Canadian offices with preference for Northern Ontario.

This role supports WSP’s Resources subsector within Energy, Resources & Industry (ERI), delivering end‑to‑end solutions for clients across Canada.

Your Impact

• Prepare 3D models and layout general arrangements for existing plant upgrades and new facilities
