Mechanical Maintenance Planner

Overview

Under the direction of the Manager, Mechanical Services, Energy South Operations (ESO), the Mechanical Maintenance Planner will plan and coordinate various mechanical maintenance activities required to achieve optimum reliability through efficient use of human resources, time, equipment and material in the ESO Division utilizing NTPC’s Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) system. The primary responsibility is to eliminate waste from maintenance activities and premature equipment failures through planning and preliminary scheduling of service activities.

The Mechanical Maintenance Planner is accountable for driving continuous improvement of maintenance activities, through supporting Manager, Mechanical Services coordinating maintenance efforts of the Manager, Substations & Electrical Services and the Electrical Maintenance Planner.
