Mechanical Team Lead (Base Maintenance)

The Mechanical Team Lead will be responsible for Aircraft Mechanical Production and Supervision within the Base and MRO environment including aircraft scheduled maintenance and component maintenance within the workshops. They are responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are undertaken in accordance with all the requirements of the regulatory approval and the issued Statement of Work/Condition of Supply to assure the output of airworthy aircraft and components. They will report to the Base Maintenance Manager and manage the programme at a tactical level ensuring that issues adversely affecting lead times are anticipated and reported. The role will involve supervision of a team of mechanical supervisors & technicians and the candidate will be able to evaluate and prioritise tasks to ensure production schedules are achieved.
