Mechanical Technical Advisor (Montreal)

Provide technical support to the railway maintenance and operations team in order to maintain equipment performance and reliability, ensuring service delivery aligned with the contractual objectives established with our client, exo.

Key Responsibilities

• Support specialist technicians during fault diagnostics
• Act as an on‑the‑job coach to improve the performance of technical personnel
• Perform rigorous follow‑up on issues occurring on in‑service rolling stock
• Propose solutions to improve the performance and reliability of railway equipment (locomotives and coaches)
• Represent the company with the client’s technical department
• Conduct in‑depth analyses of delays and their root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Perform remote diagnostics using monitoring and tracking software
• Carry out any other tasks related to the Reliability and Performance department
