Mechanical Technician

Role Overview: The Mechanical & Support Technician is responsible for the integrity of the Offshore Substation's (OSS) mechanical systems, including water supply, drainage, and diesel power systems. Due to the integrated nature of offshore operations, this role also serves as a key support resource for HVAC, Firefighting, and Low Voltage (LV) maintenance teams to ensure the overall operational readiness of the platform if required.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Mechanical & Diesel Systems:

• Perform mechanical maintenance on Standby/Auxiliary Diesel Generators (Volvo Penta), including oil/filter changes, cooling system checks, and fuel system integrity inspections.
• Maintain Diesel Fuel Systems: Inspecting day tanks, pumps, and valves to ensure reliable fuel supply.
• Manage Water Supply and Drainage: Maintenance of Sump Tanks, Oil/Water Separators, and level switches.
