Mechanical Tradesperson (VSE)

DP World Brisbane is currently seeking to recruit a Mechanical Tradesperson (VSE) for our team at the Fisherman's Island Port terminal. The successful candidate will join a highly skilled team of fitters and electricians responsible for maintaining our Quay Cranes, Automated Stacking Cranes, Shuttles, Reachstackers, Ancillary Plant, and Light Vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and skilled workforce.

Key accountabilities

• Conduct regular planned mechanical maintenance and repairs;

• Ensure equipment breakdowns are responded to and addressed in an appropriate time frame;

• Undertake mechanical repairs and refurbishment to the required standard;

• Ensure equipment is left in a safe condition and is fully tested before returning into service;

• Ensure workplace safety considerations are taken into account when undertaking all maintenance tasks;
