Mechatronics/ PLC Technician

Requirements:

• Electronic and IT knowledge or experience

• Electro-mechanical Trade Test (e.g. Millwright) or equivalent

• PLC and programming experience will be advantageous

• Technical experience with regards to industrial electricity and IT

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)

• Must have a valid driver's licence and a valid/renewable passport

• Must be willing to travel – mostly in South Africa, but international travel will be required from time to time

Responsibilities:

• Installation, training, and commissioning of new machinery from inception to completion, focusing on:

  • IT: Wiring connection

  • Electronics: Setting, testing, and training
