Media Relations Officer

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with national and regional press and media contacts to ensure the company and clients’ reputation are promoted and protected
• Cultivate and enhance collaborative working relationships with media and other important and famous personalities
• Manage the flow of communications messages about the organization and its clients to the relevant media personalities.
• Develop and manage and maintain the media data base of the company.
• Plan and oversee press events together with the assigned PR Associate or PR Director.
• Prepare articles and press releases for the media.
• Detect public relations issues as they emerge and address them directly.
• Research and write briefing materials.
• Assist in the account servicing of media relations centric clients.
