Medical Assistant, Endocrinology

University of Pittsburgh Physicians Department of Endocrinology is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to join their team at Mercy Hospital. In this position you will assist with rooming patients, taking vitals, and downloading medical data from insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors among other duties.

Training for this position will be at Falk Medical Building in Oakland, PA for the first 2 weeks of employment. This role provides some flexibility to work from home up to 1 day/week based on business needs after successfully completing an orientation period.

Responsibilities:

+ Send/receive patient medical records in accordance with Health Insurance. Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other state and federal regulations.
