Medical Assistant (Physical Medicine and Rehab)

UPMC Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to join their team! This role requires travel to multiple offices. Each day is different, and if you have patient care experience and enjoy a dynamic workflow, this is for you! Hours are Monday through Friday daylight, with no evening or weekend hours.

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday- shifts take place at Bethel Park location at 1300 Oxford Drive

Wednesday- shifts take place at Mercy Pavillion location at 1622 Locust Street

Friday- shifts take place at the Rooney Sports Complex

Responsibilities:

+ Check schedules and organizing patient flow. Accompany patients to exam/procedure room. Assist patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam, etc. Collect patient information/history; taking vitals, performing screenings per provider guidelines.
