We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant at our Quick Care South/Kids location. This position demands an individual who is self-motivated, enjoys working with people, works efficiently with our team, follows directions, demonstrates a calm demeanor in stressful situations, and accepts responsibilities for their actions while maintaining their professionalism. This person would be under the direct supervision of the Registered Nursing staff. The duties include, but are not limited to: assisting the provider with examinations and procedures, assisting the Registered Nurse with testing and treatments, managing patient phone calls, maintaining supplies in the department and treatment rooms. A big smile, compassion and patience are necessities. The minimum educational requirement for this position is a high school diploma or the equivalent, and must be a graduate of an approved medical assistant program.
