Medical Billing Specialist (Epic) | Permanent WFH

We are seeking experienced Medical Billing Specialists to support our growing billing operations, with a strong focus on claim denials and follow-up workflows . This role is ideal for someone who lives comfortably inside Epic , knows their way around work queues, and understands how to chase down reimbursement like a pro.

Key Responsibilities

• Work and resolve claim denials efficiently across multiple payer types
• Manage and prioritize “no response” work queues (WQs) within Epic
• Perform thorough insurance follow-up to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
• Review insurance plans, benefits, and payer requirements to support compliant billing
• Investigate and resolve complex billing issues in collaboration with internal teams
• Support billing operations across Family Practice/Internal Medicine, Physical Therapy, Orthopedics, and other service lines as needed
