Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Medical Billing Customer Support Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats related to patient billing and insurance queries.
Assist patients in understanding their statements, charges, and insurance coverage.
Research and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and claim rejections.
Document all interactions in the system with accuracy and attention to compliance requirements (HIPAA, TCPA, etc.).
Escalate complex issues to senior billing or compliance staff when necessary.
Educate patients on payment plans, insurance benefits, and financial assistance options.
