MEDICAL CLINIC CLERK

Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Medical Clinic Clerk.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Medical Clinic Clerk supports the clinics health care team and is responsible for determining out-patient appointment priority. Scheduling/booking outpatient appointments, coordinating clinic dates, preparing charts, medical records management, typing, filing data entry, telephone answering and ordering supplies.

Qualfications
•Grade 12 and,
• Two (2) year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to keyboard 45 .
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
