Medical Coder (Remote) – CPC Certified
for a New York-based revenue cycle organization.

Working hours:

Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am-5:30 pm (30 min lunch break included), and Friday, 9:00 am-3:00 pm (30 min lunch break included). All shifts are according to the New York time zone

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and code medical records for accuracy and completeness using CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines
• Ensure coding aligns with payer policies and ASC-specific reimbursement rules
• Identify and resolve coding discrepancies, documentation gaps, and potential coding conflicts
• Assign appropriate modifiers and ensure compliant coding for orthopedics, pain management, GI, Gynecology, and other specialties as applicable
