Working hours:
Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am-5:30 pm (30 min lunch break included), and Friday, 9:00 am-3:00 pm (30 min lunch break included). All shifts are according to the New York time zone
Key Responsibilities:
Review and code medical records for accuracy and completeness using CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines
Ensure coding aligns with payer policies and ASC-specific reimbursement rules
Identify and resolve coding discrepancies, documentation gaps, and potential coding conflicts
Assign appropriate modifiers and ensure compliant coding for orthopedics, pain management, GI, Gynecology, and other specialties as applicable
