Medical Coding QA Specialist

ASP RCM Solutions Inc. is looking for a Medical Coding QA Specialist to review and ensure the accuracy and compliance of hospital medical coding for inpatient and outpatient cases.

Responsibilities

• Audit inpatient, outpatient, and day‑surgery records.
• Validate ICD‑10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Review DRG/APC assignments and sequencing.
• Document audits and maintain QA reports.
• Provide feedback and support coder training.
• Coordinate with CDI teams and assist in denial reviews.
• Monitor coding trends and ensure compliance with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical or health related fields.
• At least 3–5 years of hospital medical coding experience.
• 1–2 years of QA or coding audit experience (preferred).
• Active coding certifications such as CCS, CIC, CPC, CPMA, or equivalent.
