The primary responsibility of the Medical Imager/X-ray/CT is:
* Prep and screen the patient appropriately for the imaging procedure.
* Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.
* Explain and perform radiologic procedure with consideration to the level of understanding and age appropriateness for the patient.
* Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
* Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
