Medical Imaging Technician

Overview of Responsibilities:


- Operate and troubleshoot different medical imaging modalities such as X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and others.

- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate and clear image.

- Monitor patients and ensure their safety and privacy during imaging procedures.

- Safeguard patients and staff from unnecessary exposure by adhering to
radiation safety protocols and procedures.

- Calibrate the equipment.

- Administer contrast agents and perform injection procedures for contrast- enhanced imaging studies.

- Interpret images correctly and communicate findings to physicians when
needed.

- Implement and maintain quality control measures.

- Ensure the proper sterilization and storage of the equipment.

- Manage and organize medical imaging data, including proper labeling, and
archiving.

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
