Medical Intake Coordinator

We're seeking a detail-oriented Medical Intake Coordinator to be the first point of contact for new patients.

You’ll manage referrals, gather clinical and insurance information, verify benefits, and ensure patients move smoothly from initial inquiry to scheduled appointment.

This role is central to a positive patient experience and accurate downstream billing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for incoming patient referrals via phone, fax, email, and EMR portals
• Collect and accurately enter patient demographics, medical history, and insurance information
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain prior authorizations as needed
• Schedule initial appointments and coordinate with clinical staff on urgent intakes
