**Who we’re looking for:**

The UW Medicine - Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology (DLMP) in Seattle, WA has a fantastic opportunity for a **Medical Laboratory Scientist Trainee/1** with the **Microbiology Team** at **Harborview Medical Center** .

**Work schedule:**

+ 100% FTE
+ Monday - Friday with rotating holidays
+ Evening shift

**What you’ll contribute:**

+ Perform and/or provide high level support for the performance of moderate to high complexity clinical laboratory tests used in the screening, diagnosing, and treating of pathological conditions.
+ Perform manual, semi-automated, and automated patient and proficiency testing without errors by following SOPs as identified by current policies and procedures in the areas trained. This may include routine bacteriology, susceptibility testing, mycology, mycobacteriology, parasitology, molecular testing, and/or specimen processing.
