Summary Of Duties

The MLT candidate will provide practical and subject matter expertise of routine and special techniques in a clinical Histotechnology laboratory. Works with medical staff, management, peers, and internal and external users to ensure quality patient care services are maintained. Seeks opportunities to improve services throughout the quality management cycle by identifying, evaluating and implementing technological enhancements and conducting workflow analysis using LEAN principles. Participation at internal and external meetings and committee work is required.

Qualifications / Skills

• CMLTO registration as a General Medical Laboratory Technologist required.
• Minimum 3 years Histology working experience in a clinical setting required.
• Experience with Immunohistochemistry; hospital experience an asset.
