Medical Officer

SUMMARY:
The Allergy and Immunology Unit (AIU) at the UCT Lung Institute is seeking a Medical Officer to lead the SENTINEL-01 study site in Masiphumelele. This is a full-time post with non-standard hours. Some evening and occasional weekend availability is required. SENTINEL-01 is a Wellcome Trust-funded observational study examining how environmental exposures affect asthma symptoms, lung function, and quality of life in children aged 6 to 15 years. This role is offered under the University of Cape Town Lung Institute’s own employment terms and conditions, which are separate from UCT conditions of service.
