Medical Practitioner (General Practice) - Medrecruit

Locum cover is required for:

• ASAP - 12 June 2026
• 22 - 28 June 2026
• 11 - 17 July 2026

Position Details:

• SMO with FACRRM/FRACGP and ED skills

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

This is a small public hospital in QLD offering the following services:

• Aged care inpatient service
• Respite
• Palliative care

Location information

The hospital is located in a town and locality on the Atherton Tableland in Far North Queensland.

The Historical Village has been the main attraction in the town for decades and has expanded dramatically. The Mining Museum has a number of picturesque walked evoking the mining past of the town.
