The Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) uses their knowledge, skill and judgement in imaging technique and radiation emitting equipment, together with an extensive knowledge of the principles of anatomy, physiology and pathology, image acquisition, treatment and radiation protection to deliver high quality care to their patients. The MRT ensures the care provided is safe, appropriate, tailored, timely, and maximizes the potential of the available equipment and resources.
