MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST – WEST LINTON HEALTH CENTRE

POST : Medical Receptionist

RESPONSIBLE TO : Lynne Nicol, Practice Manager

RATE OF PAY : NHS Agenda for Change pay scales (depending on Experience)

HOURS : 16 per week + overtime

Special Requirements Of The Post

• Ability to use own judgment, resourcefulness and be able to work under pressure without direct supervision.
• To have excellent communication skills and patience.
• To be reliable and flexible.
• To observe strict confidentiality on all matters relating to the practice and our patients.
• Ability to cover holidays and sickness/overtime.
• There will be mandatory training such as CPR annually. As we are a small Practice there may be times when you are assisting in an emergency.
