Medical Scribe

Role Description

We are seeking detail-oriented and English-proficient Medical Scribes to support U.S.-based healthcare providers. This is an on-site position in Medellín operating in a call center environment, where the scribe will document patient encounters in real time during virtual or phone consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient encounters into U.S.-based EHR systems
• Record history of present illness (HPI), review of systems (ROS), physical exam findings, assessments, and treatment plans
• Assist in documenting procedures, lab results, and imaging reports
• Ensure documentation meets U.S. compliance and billing standards
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data
• Communicate clearly and professionally with assigned providers
• Manage documentation turnaround times within SLA requirements
