Role Description
We are seeking detail-oriented and English-proficient Medical Scribes to support U.S.-based healthcare providers. This is an on-site position in Medellín operating in a call center environment, where the scribe will document patient encounters in real time during virtual or phone consultations.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately document patient encounters into U.S.-based EHR systems
Record history of present illness (HPI), review of systems (ROS), physical exam findings, assessments, and treatment plans
Assist in documenting procedures, lab results, and imaging reports
Ensure documentation meets U.S. compliance and billing standards
Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data
Communicate clearly and professionally with assigned providers
Manage documentation turnaround times within SLA requirements
Maintain strict confidentiality and data security standards
