Medical Technologist

BASIC FUNCTIONS
The Medical Technologist performs professional laboratory work following established clinic procedures and performs chemical and biological tests on patient specimens for medical diagnosis.

Education : A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology

Experience : At least one (1) year work experience in the laboratory Hospital setting

License : Registered withthe Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) Board of Medical
Technology

Training : Customer Service Training

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs job functions consistent with the vision and mission statements and the core values of the hospital.
• Assists in the formulation of the standard laboratory manuals for each section of the laboratory in coordination with the Laboratory Section Head.
