Overview of Position

Provides technical support and assistance to the doctors during Electrophysiology procedures and pacemaker device implantation. Provide device interrogation to patients during device clinics. Evaluate and review remote transmission alerts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist electrophysiologist during electrophysiology procedures and implantation

• Demonstrate proficiency with the setup and operation of all equipment associated with cardiac electrophysiology procedures

• Analyse and interpret cardiac data and ECG

• Perform device checks and troubleshoot

• Evaluate and review remote transmission and provide a summary of preliminary findings

• Perform non-echo related procedures such as treadmill ECG, tilt table, holter, 24hr BP monitoring test etc.
