& ResponsibilitiesAt Interpro Pipe & Steel, the Melt Shop Supervisor is crucial for ensuring optimal performance and safety standards within the melt shop, directly impacting efficiency of our processes and overall success of steelmaking.
Interpro Pipe & Steel is committed to maintaining and promoting a safe, healthy and injury-free environment.
Coordinate repairs, direct production activities and preventative maintenance with the Maintenance department.
Coordinate and direct activities of unionized employees working throughout the Melt Shop, Caster, and Steel Yard; on occasion direct Maintenance personnel.
Supervision of unionized employees, which includes, but is not limited to: communication of job expectations, planning, training, coaching/counseling, performance and attendance management, and issuing discipline.
